About

One team, the entire signal chain

Kuncu Teknoloji is a precision measurement engineering company based in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, working with clients worldwide. It was founded in 2018 by Alperen Akküncü. We build analog front-ends and data acquisition (DAQ) systems for test and measurement, industrial, and scientific products, from sensor to bits.

Founder & hardware designer

I founded Kuncu Teknoloji in 2018 and lead the engineering here. My own work is precision front ends, acquisition systems, high-speed PCBs and mixed-signal boards. PlainDAQ, my open-source data acquisition module for the Raspberry Pi Pico, is documented on Crowd Supply and was covered by Tom’s Hardware.

How we work

Your project never leaves one roof

I lead the engineering and stay on your project from architecture to the bench, working with the same team throughout. The engineer who routes your ground planes and guard rings sits with the engineer who writes the ADC driver and the sampling ISR, so noise and timing decisions are made in one conversation instead of across a handoff.

That is why we take the whole chain rather than a slice of it. A front-end designed in isolation from its firmware, or a board designed without the bench that will validate it, is where most measurement problems begin.

Every system is brought up and characterized in an in-house lab before it reaches you: noise floor, sample-rate accuracy, and linearity are measured, not assumed.

  • FPGA RTL written in-house (Verilog/VHDL)
  • Active Altium Designer license; Altium and KiCad delivered natively
  • Simulation-driven optimization loops that tune analog design choices

Capabilities

What we do

Precision analog front-ends

Low-noise analog circuit design and signal conditioning for sensor interfaces: instrumentation amplifiers, PGAs, and references for 16 to 24-bit ADCs, with ADC drivers optimized for settling time and noise using SPICE and optimization loops.

Analog circuit design services →

DAQ & FPGA design

Acquisition architectures on FPGAs or MCUs with in-house RTL (Verilog/VHDL), exact repeatable sample rates, and high-throughput data paths: LPDDR4 buffering, USB 3.x, Gigabit Ethernet, PCIe Gen4.

Data acquisition system design →

Deterministic embedded firmware

Bare-metal C for STM32, ARM Cortex-M, PIC, and ESP32 with DMA- and interrupt-driven sampling, minimal jitter, and register-level peripherals.

All capabilities →

High-speed mixed-signal PCB design

From schematic capture and PCB layout to native Altium Designer or KiCad delivery: up to 12 layers HDI, 0.35 mm pitch including 1156-pin FPGA BGAs, with strict signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) discipline on PCIe Gen4, LPDDR4, USB 3.x, and LVDS.
